His art practice has always been influenced by nostalgia and Buddhist philosophy. Intense feelings of nostalgia have been stimulated by his experience of displacements and relocations in the past couple of decades from his rural home village in the northeast Thailand. For his recent works, he contemplates contemporary city life with Buddhist philosophy.
The paintings convey the experience and feelings of being in the city. Through the combination of abstract and realistic images, the paintings represent the chaotic metropolitan life, whilst at the same time, pointing out the beautiful and peaceful aspects of the city as a way to escape from the chaos even when we are still living in it.
