My works, as an art practitioner, involve using different materials and practices, to engage in the complex realities of society, politics and culture. With a language that includes the line, the abstract space, fractured colour and shape, my art tries to regenerate a schema of flow or flux of those complex realities. My extensive journeys to different urban and rural areas of India taught me the differences between the cultures and believes of the people, bringing out a certain realization of “harmony in the differences”
